Hey babes! I’m Hailey, the proud owner of The Happy Orchid Design Co. and the Girl Behind the Glow! Married to the absolute love of my life, we live in a small Texas town with our four beautiful daughters—2, 5, 11 and 14. Life is wonderfully chaotic, filled with love, laughter, and never a moment of silence. (Mom life, am I right?)

This Happy Orchid started as a simple side-hustle during the pandemic—just a creative outlet to help support my family while staying home with my babies. But what started as a passion project quickly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined, allowing me to follow my dream of building a business while still being present with my family.

While we offer everything from trendy tees and tumblers to candles and home care, my heart has always belonged to natural skincare. I’ve struggled with sensitive skin my entire life, and after having four daughters with similar issues, I became exhausted from constantly reading labels and realizing how many harsh ingredients and unnecessary chemicals were hiding in everyday products.

So I took matters into my own hands — and fell in love with formulation.

Once I saw the difference it made, I was hooked. I became passionate about creating products that were safe, effective, and nourishing — without sacrificing the luxury feel we all love. I dove headfirst into learning and earned diplomas in Natural Skincare Formulation, High Performance Serum Formulation, and Haircare Formulation through the School of Natural Skincare International (CPD Certified) so I could confidently create products that are not only beautiful, but truly effective and safe — and to ensure that everything I create is backed by real knowledge and intentional formulation.

I also wanted to prove one thing: Clean skincare doesn’t have to be boring.

At The Happy Orchid, we create clean skincare that’s as pretty as it is powerful — using plant-based ingredients and naturally derived colorants (bye-bye toxic dyes!).

My dreams are big, but my goal is simple:
