TERMS, CONDITIONS & SHIPPING POLICY

The Happy Orchid Design Co. ships daily to ensure product delivery as quickly as possible. Please be mindful that our shipping policies are as followed:

  • Orders will be shipped within 5-10 business days after your order is placed.
  • ALL ITEMS ARE MADE TO ORDER unless listed as a sale item.
  • Business days are considered Monday - Friday. Saturday & Sunday are not business days, so please keep that in mind when placing your order and factoring in turnaround time.
  • Skincare orders only ship Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to avoid the possibility of being delayed in a shipping facility - Our products contain only natural ingredients, and can be affected by extreme temperatures, so we do our best to avoid this possibility.
  •  Free shipping is automatically applied on any orders over $150 within the US.
  •  All emails regarding orders need to be sent to our customer care email @ thehappyorchiddesignco@gmail.com or may be sent to our Facebook Page.
  • USPS Priority Mail - Price depends on weight of package and will arrive in 2-3 business days once shipped.
  • You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Note: Holidays may affect these times or cause delays that are outside of our control. Please keep this in mind when ordering around major holidays - don't wait!

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

While we do all we can to ensure your order is processed and delivered on time, The Happy Orchid Design Co. is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. We also may not be held reliable for incorrect shipping addresses entered during the checkout process. Please double check to make sure the shipping information you enter is accurate and that it is where you would like your order to be delivered. 

If in the event you believe your package may have been lost or stolen, please contact USPS customer service team, or the designated service carrier (UPS, FedEX, etc) with your tracking number so they can assist you in locating and/or redirecting your package. If you need help finding your tracking number, please reach out to our customer care email @ thehappyorchiddesignco@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist you. 

LOCAL PICK UP

If you wish you to pick up your order rather than have it shipped, you may choose the Pick Up option at checkout. Turnaround time for pickup orders is typically 5-10 business days. You will receive a confirmation email confirming your order as well as pick up instructions and details, which are as followed:

  • You will receive an email notification when your order is ready to be picked up containing our storefront address. 
  • When you arrive, all pick up orders will be packaged and waiting in our Quick Pick Up area outside of our store. 
  • Skincare items will be packaged separately and placed in the small refrigerator located in our Pick Up area during warmer months.
  • All packages are labeled with names, so you simply need to select the package with your name. (If your order contains a combination of items such as apparel + skincare products, you will have two separate packages. Tees, candles, keychains, etc, will be packaged on our pickup shelf, and skincare will be packaged separately in the small refrigerator - so don’t leave your goodies behind!)


All pickup orders are placed in our pickup area Monday-Friday by 7am and are arranged in a convenient “Grab & Go” fashion for a quick and easy pick up, so you can stop by to pick up your order at whatever time is convenient for you - so no need to check in beforehand! 
As long as you have received an email stating your order is ready for pick up, your package will be waiting for you.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

If your item or product arrives defective or you are unsatisfied with you order in any way, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order and let us know. Returns/exchanges will not be accepted after this time frame.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please put “RETURN REQUEST” with your order number in the subject line. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us. We will provide return instructions on how and where to send your package in our approval response. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Once the return item(s) are delivered back to us and the return is processed, you will receive store credit on a Gift Card emailed to you for future use.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Note: When ordering a personalized item, please be sure to double check any and all spelling, especially when adding names to personalized tees or products. We will typically send a mock-up within 24 hours for your approval - please verify that all information is correct as this cannot be changed or altered after approval. 


EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to the nature of our product and sanitary purposes we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on our skincare products. If  you have any concerns with your order please contact us via email at thehappyorchiddesignco@gmail.com

Some of our products are sensitive to heat and can melt during the shipping process. While we do make our best effort with packaging to prevent this from happening, we do not hold any responsibility should this happen and therefore do not offer any refunds or exchanges for this reason. If your product does melt in transit please contact us and do not throw your product away, as we do offer tips and tricks to bring your product back to life. 

Please do not leave your packages in places that are warm or have direct sunlight, such as mailboxes or on front doorsteps or porches. When choosing shipping we recommend choosing an address that you will be available at for when your package arrives.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards as they are FINAL SALE items.

EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not, and why (if not approved). If approved, you’ll be automatically emailed a Gift Card with Store Credit that can be used on your next purchase.


TEMPERATURE SENSITIVITY WARNING

Our skincare products are 100% organic, all natural products. We do not use any chemicals, parabens, or sulfates and most products should be stored at room temperature or can preferably be chilled to extend shelf life. Some products (such as body butter, sugar scrubs, and creams) CAN MELT IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES. We take every precaution we can by using insulated packaging and eco-friendly ice packs. However, though unfortunate, we are not responsible for any melting during transit.
Please note: if melted, body butters will return to desired consistency if placed in the refrigerator for a minimum of thirty minutes, but the colors may vary. These products are not considered damaged, as they are still very effective. Please contact us if this happens and we will be happy to share many tips and tricks to completely revive your product to desired consistency!
